CH Quake Gyldenlove of RockattsD.O.B. December 1, 1999 CFA Gulf Shore Region Best of Breed NFC 2001-2002 Quake is my first Norwegian Forest Cat and with him it was love at first sight. After getting in touch with Carli Haekkerup I saw the litter she had at the time included the cutest black and white kitten I think I'd ever seen. I had to have him! Quake is from Denmark and flew to the U.S. from Gyldenlove cattery. Quake made himself right at home with us with no problem at all. He is the most easy going cat. Quake is above playing with toys now except for brand new cat nip toys. He does love to chase his son Rain around the house, though. Quake is not a lap cat, but sleeps on the bed with us every night. Quake is without a doubt MY cat. Thank you, Carli, for this wonderful guy!
CH Koeni's Nikita of RockattsD.O.B: December 8, 2000 CFA Gulf Shore Region 2nd Best of Breed NFC 2001-2002 It was not long after Quake arrived that I knew I needed another Norwegian Forest Cat. I had recently met a wonderful person, Anja von Koenen from Germany, and asked her if I might be able to get one of her upcoming kittens. She said yes and Brian picked out Nikita. This was to be his kitten since I picked Quake. Nikita had other ideas, though. She came to our home and was by far much more into things than Quake. She could get to the top of anything and even found the ledge in our home the Quake never knew existed. Maybe it is that red fur that makes her act so wild to this day. She took to my oldest daughter and is more her cat than any of the rest of us. Nikita's favorite toy is a wadded up piece of foil or paper, but she prefer the foil. Cheap toy. :-) Thanks to Anja for our first beautiful girl.
CH LostWoods Rain of RockattsD.O.B: July 21, 2002 CFA Gulf Shore Region 3rd Best of Breed NFC 2003-2004 By some unknown fate,I met a friend who lives about a mile away, Lisa Vasa. Lisa who was getting a female Norwegian Forest Cat. So when she got her wegie Meisterhaus Shira of LostWoods we put her and Quake together and got some beautiful kittens. One was a solid blue and Brian decided we should keep him. So we did and now we have Rain. Rain is a great cat. He is very social and just loves anyone who will pay attention to him. Rain is a delight to show because he likes it. I have never heard him hiss or growl while there. He is just a sweetheart! Rain does not have one member of the family he likes more than the others, but does favor me most of the time. Rain loves to play with feathers. He had a favorite pink feather teaser with a bell (which was meant for one of the other cats.) He finally destroyed it and after searching and searching we finally found another one and he loves it. Thank you to my good friend, Lisa Vasa for this sweet heart cat.
LostWoods Kimbry of RockattsD.O.B: May 18, 2003 My friend Lisa Vasa also got two other cats, a male and a female that she breed together. I thought I should have a kitten from this litter, too, since I love both of those cats. So from this litter I picked out Kimbry -- a gorgeous, naughty kitten. As she has grown she has the attitude that she is better than any of the other cats. She knows she is a very pretty cat and has been a wonderful mom to three of our litters. Our thanks goes to Lisa Vasa from Lostwoods cattery for this very gorgeous girl. Crystalfjord Sahara of RockattsD.O.B: February 18, 2004 I have always liked the brown tabby Norwegian Forest Cats and really, really wanted one. So I started my search, and I came across a few very nice kittens and decided on Sahara. Sahara came to us from Crystalfjord Cattery. Sahara is a sweetheart and we love her to pieces. She has come into our home and fits in very nicely with all of us. Thank you goes to Jack and Vicki Edwards.
Rockatts Dasher
D.O.B December 3, 2006 When I realized how well my B-litter turned out, I decided to repeat that breeding with the intention of keeping a male out of that litter, that litter became my D-litter and so now I have Dasher. Dasher was a mommy's boy from the start. He was always by Kimbry's side and then as he started to walk and get out of his box, he would come right over to his two legged mom, that's me, and want to be by me. I almost knew he would be the one I kept and to this day he is the most loving kitten I have had in awhile. I am glad he is staying here with us.

CH Norlights Maxine of Rockatts
D.O.B. April 3, 2007 I got a call from a good friend Tracey McCullough who also raises Norwegian Forest Cats. She said she was closing her breeding program for a couple years but wanted to keep a couple of her lines going till she was able to start up again and then get a kitten from each line to start again. Of course I was interested in getting a kitten from her and her M-litter would be perfect and I decided on getting Maxine for mostly my breeding program but also to show too. Maxine is such a sweetheart and fit in beautifully with the other cats. We love her so much. Thank you Tracey for the opportunity to have this wonderful girl. ___________________________________________________________________________________ CH Wegiekatt Danica of LostWoods D.O.B. June 12, 2007 Here I am minding my own business when I get an email from Lisa Vasa telling me about how she has a chance to get another kitten from out of a mating between her Peanut and Talia and how she would really like to get a female from one of their kittens but can't because her hubby said no. She wanted to know if I would be interested in getting this female with her and she would live here and I would show her and breed her. I knew my husband would say no too if I asked if I could buy another kitten so I said I would love to have her live here but could not spend any money on another kitten so Lisa and I worked it out and she bought Danica, so to speak, and I am raising her and showing her and will breed her here. She is gorgeous and we are in love with this little sweetheart and look forward to showing her and seeing the kittens she will produce. Thank you to Patti Harriman for letting Lisa and I share this wonderful kitten. |
